I enjoy weird and quirky solutions throughout automotive history.

I’m Sławek which is short for Sławomir. I grew up in a small village located in the south of Poland, where before World War 2, Thonet furniture was being made. So it happened that I began to explore the world of wood working and Industrial Design. I simply fell in love with it.

I ended up graduating from Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź in product design specialty. I strive to broad my designing skills, so I learn a bit of everything, from visual communication to coding certain usage processes. I’m amazed by modernist and metabolic approach to design and architecture. I enjoy finding out about weird and quirky solutions throughout automotive history. I care about sustainability and slow-life way of living is just for me.

What do you do at work?

As a member of marketing team, I’m responsible for transforming my colleagues’ thoughts to “digital paper”. That means creating visuals, posters, animations etc. Beside that I try to find imperfections everywhere and fix them to be more pleasant for users’ hearts and eyes. In short - I’m watching, analyzing, thinking, clicking and making visual things perfect.

What do you do to give the day a little twist?

Trying out new things - small and big ones. How about adding some grated Brazilian nuts on pizza? Doesn’t sound so twisted, but neither am I, well apart from cooking or watching some Japanese wrestling match clips. Sometimes I sleep with my head on the opposite side of bed or in two different socks. That’s about as twisty as it gets

What do you think is characteristic of Epassi as a company?

From my perspective it’s all about care really. Making sure that user and clients are satisfied with our product. When you’re using Epassi benefits, you’re doing it because you care for yourself too. Epassi employers also care about each other, from my short experience, because I’m working here for 8 months I did see that people here care for company's business and each other. They care if you’re not feeling well, they care when you’re helping, even if you don’t have time for something. That’s really cool.

What is the best thing about working at Epassi?

The best about working at Epassi is people who you work with, really, it’s all about teamwork, no matter how pretentiously it sounds, it really is something. It is calm and nice environment. If you need help with anything - there is help, when you do your job well there are nice comments. It might be very obvious, but in day to day work it really makes difference and you feel like at home.
