Hi! I'm Peter, the Product Owner for Epassi's platform. I work with our team and stakeholders to shape our platform, focusing on the future business needs with an awesome developer experience. This means I play an integral part in our growth, ensuring our platform evolves with the company's ambitious goals. 

What do you do to give the day a little twist?

Every morning, I ask myself: what is this day going to be about? I write this down and, at the end of the day, reflect on how things went. It's a simple habit, but it keeps me focused and makes each day a mindful endeavor rather than just a series of tasks.  

What do you do at work? 

My day mostly revolves around meetings and conversations, where we share visions, gain insights, and ensure we're all moving in the same direction. I really enjoy working on multiple horizons, from envisioning what Epassi will look like in 5 years, to deciding which features we need to build to better assist our internal admins with helping customers.  

What do you think is characteristic of Epassi as a company?

Epassi has a distinct open-minded culture that I appreciate. Because we're a relatively small company, an individual's contribution can have a substantial impact. It's empowering to spot an opportunity, step in, and make things better.  

What is the best thing about working at Epassi?

For me, it's the awesome people I collaborate with and the dynamic journey of growth we're experiencing as a company. A memory that stands out was a multi-day workshop where, despite initial doubts, our diverse team kept an open mind and ended up crafting a solid foundation for our future. Witnessing the company's ambitious growth firsthand has been incredibly inspiring. This blend of unique individuals and shared progress is what makes working at Epassi such a rewarding adventure.  

How do you take care of your own well-being?

One thing I do is allocate "Learning Days" to my schedule. Every now and then, I set aside a day or half a day to focus on learning something new. It's a great mental reset and also helps me bring fresh perspectives and ideas back to the team.
