Tech Support Team Lead

In the role as Tech support team lead you will be responsible for growing a high performing Tech Support team and  development and support of the Epassi product platform.  

Main responsibilities: 

  • leading and providing support to the 2nd / 3rd line Tech Support Team 
  • growing blameless culture of trust, learning and continual improvement, encouraging people to take action 
  • providing feedback and guidance to team members conducting regular one on ones to support team members in their career development and personal growth 
  • monitoring trends and analyzing production problems 
  • ownership and improving the Tech Support processes along with team members 
  • support the team with prioritization of the work and coordination till successful problem resolution if needed 
  • assisting the team members with day-to-day operational details including technical mentoring and expertise  
  • driving development of minor, identification of new features opportunities (Epassi platform self-service capabilities) and automation of the most common support requests  
  • providing hands-on involvement in 2nd / 3rd line day-to-day operations and bug fixing 
  • working closely with other teams to drive down number of issues / problems 


You will be a great fit if you have: 

  • Finnish & English languages are compulsory 
  • At least 3 years of experience as Tech Support Specialist / Developer or Tech Support Lead 
  • strong IT skills and proven development experience preferably in Ruby or Java 
  • understanding of customer service, issue resolution, tech support and development best practices 
  • experience in data analysis and dashboards to create KPI reporting’s 
  • ability to understand system architecture 
  • problem solving and analytic thinking
